You should come to Australia!!!!!!

I adore how you’ve included faith in this, and of course his little internal monologues are very suitable and easy to read. Great work Macy.

Aww, thanks! I'm making my way down Asia this year, so it's very likely I'll reach Australia at some point on my travels. Which area are you based in??

Where in Asia? I’d love to travel more. It’s a massive non-book related goal 🤣 we are going to Greece this year though.

I’m on the Gold Coast in QLD.

Oooooo QLD sounds gorgeous! I'm going to Japan first. Then, I want to visit Korea and Taiwan. That's about as far as I've planned. We'll see where the wind carries me. :) I might write a post about how I became a digital nomad and stuff I've learned on the way once I'm in Japan if people seem interested in the topic.

I’d love to read it! I’d love nothing more than to travel but at least have a stable source of income. If you can make it work the great!

I really like watching the little robot struggling to operate on faith, from the perspective of a non- human. Great writing!

I think he makes it out (I just realized he has a solar panel).

Lucas’ promise to return reminds me of Christ’s promise to return.

There was a picture of a big sinkhole that really helped me visualize the story. The robot’s gravitational beams seem immensely powerful if he can rip doors off cars!

Describing dimensions is one of my weak spots as a writer 😆, so I was worried about whether my description of the sinkhole was clear enough. Thanks for the feedback about the picture! I'm glad you were able to see the parallel between Lucas' promise to return and Christ's promise to return. Exploring the topic of faith in my writing is something I hope to get better at over time. Great observation, Timothy!

I have had a crisis of faith before where I was tempted to doubt God’s goodness but the Lord sustained me (the story will be in a future post in March)
